PIGEON RECEPTION
Reception will take place from March 1st to May 31st, 2026.
The organizers reserve the right to modify or extend these deadlines due to unforeseen circumstances.
If the capacity of 2,300 pigeons is reached before May 31st, 2026, the registration period will be officially closed.
The organizing committee will provide information on shipping and payment methods through its website.
TEAMS AND REGISTRATION
🔹 Team Composition
Teams consist of 5 active pigeons (€150/pigeon) and 2 reserve pigeons. Total per complete team: 7 pigeons Team price (5 active): €750.
Reserves are only payable if the pigeons finally will compete.
🔹 Reservation
Conditions Only those registering teams of 7 or more pigeons may submit reservations.
Two reservations are allowed for every 5 registered pigeons. Reservations can replace withdrawals (injury, loss, or death).
The registration fee (€150 per reserve pigeons) is will be paid if the pigeons continue after the last training session and before the first official competition.
Reserve Pigeons payment deadline
August 12, 2026 (at least 5 days before the first competition).
Registration Fee
Registration for all 5 participants must be completed: Preferably before shipment.
No later than 7 days after receiving the pigeons.
In case of non-payment, the organization will assume all rights to the inactive pigeons and may allocate them to sponsorship or auction.

Replacement of lost birds If a pigeon is lost during training or is removed from the pigeon loft, it can be replaced free of charge until May 31.
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the fancier.

General Conditions
Any pigeon fancier with rings of 2026 would can participate.
Once registered, the pigeons will become the property of the organizing entity.
It is MANDATORY to submit proof of ownership and a detailed pedigree.
They will undergo veterinary inspection, quarantine, vaccination, and electronic ringing.
The organization reserves the right to reject any birds with bad condition health.
Shipping costs are always the responsibility of the participant.
The organization may postpone or modify training sessions and races if it will be necessary (always looking for the best of pigeons).
ACE PIGEON
This score is calculated as follows:
Total distance of all races (except the Extra Final) DIVIDED BY the total time spent (without deductions for dark hours)
CATEGORIES
🟢 Ace Pigeon Speed Required to score in 4 races: 125 – 150 – 175 – 200 km
🔵 Ace Pigeon Middle Distance Required to score in 3 races: 175 – 200 – 340 km
🟣 Ace Pigeon General Required to score in 6 races: 125 – 150 – 175 – 200 – 340 – 500 km
(Including the Final from Monesterio – Badajoz)
🔴 Ace Pigeon Long Distance (new!) Required to score in: 500 km + 650/700 km
PIGEON TO AUCTION
Pigeons that will be auctioned:
The first 15 young pigeons arrived from the Monesterio Final (Badajoz)
The top 10 Ace Pigeons in the General category
Profits Distribution from auction:
50% for the owner (less 50% of the photography cost)
50% for the organizers (will pay other 50% pictures or video)
NEW
With prior agreement with the organizers, pigeons returning from the Final may be withdrawn (maximum 4 days later), provided that:
They are not among the first 15 arrivals.
They are not among the top 10 Ace Pigeons in the General category.
They will still be auctioned under the same conditions.
Pedigree required for auction to get 50% of the auction profit:
A detailed pedigree must be submitted upon arrival or before the last training session (August 10, 2026).
Providing only the sire and dam’s rings number without a breakdown of their origins and racing results will not be considered valid.
In case of non-compliance, the right to 50% of the auction proceeds will be forfeited (although the sporting prizes will be retained).
The organizers may publish an informational list of participants with complete documentation.
Liability The organizers are not responsible for thefts or accidents during the scheduled events.
AWARDS are calculated based on 1,600 registered (and paid) pigeons. If the final number is higher or lower, the cash prizes will be adjusted proportionally.
